I've known this event for a while. I'm just too lazy to blog about it. Anyway, bands in the first lineup are good. Oremuz, Sanctus and Anhura are great, to name a few of my favorites. This will be the second time I'll be hearing Rough Housen play since EDW 6. I couldn't always attend EDW due to the fact that it's held during Hallow's Eve and I could only skip a few times from visiting our family's graves. Elysian Square Dark Fest will give me more chance to attend dark gatherings, listen to more alluring dark music and hangout with old friends.

Friends, you know who you are, if anyone of you will be attending, growl over my mailbox will you?

Lipton Thoughts and Teas 2

Last Saturday, we went to the Lipton Thoughts and Teas 2 event held by Lipton Philippines. We had a tea party with other food bloggers at one of my favorite restaurants, Paul Calvin’s Deli in Forbes Heights, Bonifacio Global City.

Chef Rose Bud was our host for the event and she taught us a lot of new recipes of appreciating the greatness of tea. Yes! I'm not a food blogger, but as everyone knows, I'm a super fan of tea.

There were tons of cookies, cupcakes, tarts and stuff in the tea party.

The tea pots were also very cute! I was trying to resist the urge of stealing one of these teapots and take them home. I'm even risking the fact that I could get banned for it.

We had a tea making contest wherein we were ask to make out own tea and have the chef judge on whose combinations were the best and she gets to win a price.

Jepoy and RJ were a riot and made some disgusting looking tea, on which, I was the taste tester. When I tasted their tea, I realized how much it really sucks to have them as friends.

And at the end of the mixing of this and that, I arrived an a lame tasting Honey Apple Tea in a cute blue mug, on which I got to take home after, for the effort of making tea. See? I had a picture with Chef Rosebud before she tasted my lame tea mix. (I stole this blurred picture here).

Bea won the tea she never tasted, but I got to taste that super yummy tea! Now I have gained back my confidence! I thought I would lose my sense of taste when I tasted Jepoy and RJ's tea. I do not know what she mixed in there. The ingredients were too many to remember.

At the end of the day, I got freebies! An entire box of Lipton tea, a sugar stirrer, almond and vanilla syrups.

Thanks Lipton Philippines to the yummy and fun experience!

PS: You can find the rest of the photos I took of this event in my Lipton Thoughts and Teas set.

J-pop Anime Singing Contest 2011

I can shamelessly say that my singing voice doesn't sound bad. And it doesn't sound good either. =S Though my ability to pick up a song's melody is as fast as merely hearing a certain song 3x, my ability to memorize songs that aren't either English or Tagalog suck. The only Japanese song I can actually sing in complete correct lyrics is Utada Hikaru's First Love. X Japan's Tears doesn't count since half of it's lyrics are English. XD

But if you got all those stuff, adding the fact that you can pronounce Japanese words/lyrics right, go join the J-pop Anime Singing Contest! I think it's an amateur singing contest, so you don't have to worry about competing with top class singers or something. It'll be worth while.

If you're joining, hurry your ass up to the Japanese Embassy of the Philippines website to sign up, because the registration will end May 20th, 2011.

Information was leeched from magnetic-rose.net, and image stolen from the same site without permission. XD But! I'll be forgiven, because I'm nice . :3

PS: I haven't blogged for a while, because I'm too lazy. XD

Date with StalkerBugs and the Blog and Soul

I had a post birthday celebration today with the StalkerBugs group. We ate at Shakey's at Glorietta 3.

After that, we went to the Blog and Soul Forum which was held at Meralco Case Room inside the Asian Institute of Management in Paseo de Roxas.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what Blog and Soul Forum really is, when I got there. Achie Rochelle invited us to go and I was a bit curious of what I might find, when I go there.

So, inside the Blog and Soul forum, they discussed about the blogger's experiences, past issues, how they started and eventually gained popularity and/or credibility online, through blogging and other social media. This one's the first of it's series. They'll have different topics and forums will be held every 2 weeks, as I heard. Hey, though I seem like I do a lot of things and is totally not listening at all (from the background), I actually do listen. I'm just the type who's weak at conferences, meetings and such and that I easily get bored (hopefully, not sleepy that time, even when it's after lunch and we really ate a lot). XD

This forum, I think is a great idea, but I'm afraid, is not exactly something that I would find interest in. As you know, I've been blogging since like the ancient times, and I've been this way ever since. I don't think I've gained popularity over blogging nor I'm particularly interested in it either. And I care less of what the public may think of me or what I write, I just blog things I want to blog. I simply just want to blog for self-expression or whatever.

But this is only me, there'll probably be tons of people out there who would find this interesting so I'll share it, just in case.

Oh, btw! I finally met Ade in person, after like what? 5 years? Ahahaha!

And I've met/saw a lot of other bloggers I know too, like Adam and Benj.
