I really can't understand why Bible find favor with so many people. One of my friends is a Bible crazy!

Thanks for sharing. But your statements are rather too vague. I am left with tons of questions such as:

1. Are you also an INC? (But this is not important.)
2. Did you even read this post before commenting?
3. Which verse in the Bible are your statements from? Or you just said whatever that you think is right and/or would defend that fact that God forbade the eating/drinking of blood.

And so on...

blood is not given by God to us as food. That's the mean reason why we should not eat blood.

When Christ said that all that goes in our mouth is clean, it doesn't mean that Christ allowed us to eat blood. If you'll examine the new testament, Christians are prohibited to eat blood.

I think religion is a way to control people. They tell you things and people believe. Religion is trying to take over the world, I say. It could be something similar to the Holocaust but without all of the killing...-_-;

Regardless of how the animal died, we still eat it. It's food and that's how we survive. Those same animals have killed other animals and ate them for survival as well. It's a chain reaction of life.

If someone placed 2 chicken wings in front of me and stated that #1 was strangled and #2 was raped, you know which one I'd choose? The biggest piece. ;-)

I still clearly remember what my Theo1... it's something like treat the bible as a huge story book, not a history book. This is getting much more of a religious debate. Some "religious" people think that the bible the just like the "supreme being" -perfect. Jesus Christ, "original" bible was written in Aramaic and is now translated to many languages. How sure are some people there that the translations had been accurate???? By the way, I don't eat dinuguan. It's not about the blood...but rather the taste. I can't get acquainted to it.

Too bad, common sense isn't so common. There are things that may be "common sense" to you, but not to everybody. Of course, I wanna hear/read it straight from you. :) What if, according to my common sense, eating human flesh is "clean?" As long as that flesh does not belong to my clan, it is therefore, clean? If you leave everything to "common sense", then there would never be clean or dirty, right or wrong, moral and immoral.

Well...it's all in how you read it. Some passages say to sacrifice something or other (I haven't read The Bible too well...my bad) and others say to be forgiving and tolerant, yet people take them to mean "start a witch hunt". The idea of eating blood is a little off-putting to most. But people eat animal blood in meat anyway. There's no way to remove all traces of blood from meat. Yes, the actual red juice (blood) cooks off, but that meat is still part of the animal that the blood nourished. Thing is, people are going to claim to understand The Bible, but we won't know if we're right till we die. So if people want to prove themselves right...kidding, I'm not that mean, but honestly, everybody just quit pretending to completely understand the entire meaning of and the way to interpret the word of God unless you're possessed by the Holy Spirit and proceeding to write the New New Testament. Sheesh, religious arguments are annoying...You always have some of those morons who haven't read their own book and the people who don't believe at all just goading them into a fight. Why bother starting a fight? Why provoke people? Sheesh! This probably made no sense, but oh well. I'm not good with religious arguments because I've never been made to read The Bible. (Well, I did have one of those kid's versions, but my favorite part was Genesis, so guess what the only part I read to memorize was?)

You are all misunderstanding the Bible and God.

Dear, do not tell me that. Tell that to the INC people. Then, have a Biblical bashing with them. It would probably take about a hundred years or so and in the end, no one wins. It would be late until you guys realize that the Bible is contradicting itself. Then, about that period of enlightenment, people would just realize that God never existed in the first place. And the Bible? It's written by mere humans who wanted to share their piece of Philosophy because during those times, blogs doesn't exist. My two cents. ;)
